Welcome to ASX Stag Party!
Wondering what the hell I am talking about?
ASX Stag Party is a website dedicated to reviewing and recommending new stocks as they list on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). A great many of these stocks are lemons, so a great deal of critical thinking will be applied to find the cherries.
Why stag party? Well stag profits refers to the profits that you can make on new listings, often referred to as Initial Public Offerings or simply as 'IPOs'. Party refers to the celebrations that you will be invited to if you have shares in one of our winning stocks. Sorry, we don't celebrate losses.
I hope you like the site.

D’Aguilar Gold Ltd is floating off its North Queensland base metals and uranium interests into a separate corporate entity called
Mt Isa Metals. Its noteworthy that floats are priced very high at the moment. Too high. To the credit of management, this offering has significant upside, but its a highly speculative offering since it could amount to zero.
The new shareholders will account for just one-third of the nominal value of the enterprise post-IPO. The offer is scheduled for Jun'08. It might be worth another look closer to the application closing date - assuming there is more results forthcoming. Otherwise I will be inclined to wait for a post-IPO slump. Still alot of work to be done. But one should not under-estimate the postential for this company to find a huge deposit. More info later when I review the projects in more detail.
